The Compact Recast Sofabed’s design is influenced by the Mid-Century Modern Movement, evident through its clean simplicity fused with warm wooden material in the legs. Its unique convertible design easily changes from a stylish sofa into a small double sofa bed 180cm long. This is a compact option to its counter part the Recast which is 200cm long.

I had the best experience shopping with Sofa Beds Specialist. I bought the Compact Recast Double for my study in Mixed Dance (Blue) fabric. It looks absolutely amazing and really well made. I haven’t had the chance to use it as a bed yet but it feels comfortable to sit on with good support in the seat. From the first visit to the shop to the delivery and follow up calls, the staff Conny and Melissa were very helpful and polite.
If you are looking for a sofa bed, I definitely would recommend making a visit to the shop and check out all the different styles available.

I liked the look of Sofabed Specialists sofa beds, and ordered one, with very helpful customer service from Melissa who was on the phone and emails with me as ideas went to and fro. This included Melissa sending me mock ups of the sofa with various fabric options, and samples of the fabrics posted very promptly.
Then there was a fabric supply issue, not Sofabed Specialists’ fault, followed by a whole lot of other toing and froing, all of which Melissa dealt with in the most helpful and friendly way, again involving swatches in the post and mock ups via email.
And as if that wasn’t enough, Melissa decided to go the extra mile and see if she could find a way to get me the original choice of fabric after all! And she did, at some cost to Sofabed Specialists! And there’s even more superb customer service to that story but I’ll stop here and finish with a big thanks and a recommendation!
Thanks Melissa, and Conny, and you’ll be my go-to for anyone I know who’s after the furniture Sofabed Specialists include in their catalogue.

Conny and the team at Sofabed Specialists were incredibly helpful with great customer service. Highly recommended for your sofabed needs. I needed a nice looking and decent sized sofa bed at short notice. The Sofabed Specialists team helped me get it delivered interstate in record time and shared plenty details with me so I was prepared for the minimal set up required. Their support and communication was outstanding and I am very happy with the sofabed we got (the Recast model). It looks lovely and is great a both a sofa and a bed. My parents stayed on the bed for the first night yesterday and were very happy with it.
